After Christmas :: Super Scrake

We're making progress...

I've more or less finished work on the hit detection for his attacks; anyone touched by either chainsaw swinging at them during an attack will take damage, meaning every attack can hit multiple targets. This is far better than the method that existing specimens use, whereby damage is only dealt to the target (even if there is another player between the specimen and the target) and only at a specific part of the animation.

We've implemented 4 attacks so far, although I'm hoping for at least a couple more.

Lots more work to do, but just wanted to inform you guys that it is coming along. :)

I can't believe noone has mentioned this before, but The Maul somewhat resembles The Thing of the Fantastic 4 !?
At least that's the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this abomination.

Maybe you could make it shout 'it's clobberin time !' once it sights a player ?
:rolleyes:

yeah...only the Maul doesnt smoke .... :rolleyes:

So I take it you have a problem with this model?
