System Requirements

How I run the game is one of the deciding factors of where we put the final specs.

Is this a hint that we need to buy you a new pc in order to play the game at its max?

Anyway, I have a similar pc to the one used in gamescon (Q9550 + a ATI 5870 that might get a twin sometime this year)
so I guess I am :IS2::IS2::IS2:.

well i made a small upgrade not long ago & I can run ArmA 2 on single player just fine
As well as AA3 ,TF2 . L4D etc.
with this

Amd Athlon 7750 duel core 2700Mhz
4Gb ram
Nvidia gts 250 (1GB Ram)

hopefully It will play HOS smooth?

& try against all the newest unreal 3 engine games , it comes back saying I should be able to run them all fine ,...im not sure how its calculating my processor though ,...

All latest unreal 3 engine games get pretty close to the same results , The only unreal 3 game I actually have is AA3 & it looks & runs perfect , so I dont know how much more hard HOS is going to be than most current unreal 3 engine games , which according to system requirements lab ,..i shouldn't have a problem with i guess

I wouldn't use UT3 as a benchmark because I think the current engine will be quite a bit more advanced.

I'm not sure of the latest game released on the UT3 engine, but whatever it is, it would probably be a better yardstick Maybe the latest in the Brothers In Arms series?

Well I wasnt actually using UT3 just trying to find the latest releases on the engine & put them through the "can I run it " test http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
Seems the best way for now to give you an idea where you may need improvement...

Yeah I was just speaking generally. If you run the analysis for Brother in arms and Mass Effect 2 it should give a realistic idea

Those who are looking for a completely new system, the Intel Sandy Bridge processor will have an integrated graphics processor more powerful than the ATI Radeon HD 5450.
The AMD Llano processor will also have an integrated graphics processor which can be placed among the HD 5570 and HD 5650 in terms of performance.

Both of them should be powerful enough to run games like Mass Effect 2 (I assume you can compare that to Heroes of Stalingrad) and other Unreal Engine 3.0 games.
At resolutions up to 1920x1080 and reasonable graphical settings without the need of a dedicated graphics card.

You might want to buy a dedicated graphics card anyway, but purely for playing Heroes of Stalingrad these might just be good enough for you.

Looks like its a placeholder from The Ball's system reqs, which is slightly higher than UT3's. Seems reasonable enough for this stage in development.

Please do NOT use those system requirements as any sort of measurement. As we've said they are subject to change (even drastically).

I can already point out we are 99% sure we won't support single core processors.

maybe steam require it, does not really bother me... I will be upgrading all but my gfx card (5870) soon. I really would like a 6 core, I may wait for bulldozer.

Well from many of the reviews we've seen it looks like there is at least a beta version being tested , is it far enough along that we have any better idea on system requiremennts ?
am I going to be ok with,....
