Prices raised on first Character Packs

I saw recently that the prices of first skin packs were raised.

From Outbreak Character Pack to Urban Character Pack, full prices have never been more than 2 euros. Some packs were cheaper than 1 euro (edit : after checking, it was a little more than 1 euro).

Now, prices for those packs are 6~8 euros.

Do you know if there is any official justification for this ?

Yeah, everyone complained it was cheap and 4 characters was way cheaper then the premium characters. A nice idea what they did.

People were complaining about two things:
a) why single characters cost more than 4-packs?
b) why old character packs got only 50% discount during sales instead of 75%.
Now both problems are solved

For a game on the end of its lifespan, or at least with the sequel on the horzine, it only makes sense to decrease the price of old DLC, not raise it.

Excluding steam royalties, DLC sales and other game sales and calculating all KF sales at $5 each, KF has amassed nearly $15,000,000.

Again, that is assuming every copy was sold at $5. That is without DLC sales and doesn't include sales of other TWI games.

Because single characters have new sounds and effects ? And producing sounds is very expensive ?

Basically, I'm not against this decision (I have bought every old packs long ago). I was just looking for a Tripwire communication about that.

No one had any special sounds. DAR and Reggie are known to be the laziest voices ever made, Mrs Foster uses the voice of a Promo character (Ash), and the rest are the same voices.

@OP: These character packs were raised after the St. Patricks promotion... Which was a while ago...
And what everyone else has said is the reason why they raised them.
