MP7+Medic Perk

Also it is strange that you don't level up damage and less recoil, just clip capacity. :confused:

Agree why don't medics get the same benifits as other classes.

Medic heals people. Medic is not a damage dealer. If you want to deal damage with a medic, BUY ANOTHER WEAPON. Also all this "Oh, MP7 has no recoil in real life, so should certainly have no recoil in this fictional game" is crap. The recoil is thrown in to balance it out a bit. Imagine if the firepower was upped to stop fleshpounds like someone suggested, then the recoil was lowered like many others have suggested. Wouldn't EVERYONE in existence just be Medic and get this medic gun that can easily destroy any enemy in the game?

I know i'm not supposed to be a primary damage dealer but what am I supposed to do sit in a corner wanking it waiting for my team to get wounded?
Other weapons cost money that medics don't earn which you would know if you ever played as a medic. Yes recoil is designed to balance but right now it is unbalanced. Don't think anyone said that the damage should be able to take down a fleshpound or that there should be no recoil.

Since you seem to think big letters make you sound correct:
Yes, medic should be on alert for any teammates that need healing. Should there be none, do as many others have suggested and buy another gun. And also medics recieve money when they heal players "which you would know if you ever played as a medic."

Ask your teammates to buy a gun for you then. And don't die.
I never had money problems as a medic anyway so I don't really understand but whatever.
Basically, if I don't have any problems with the game, then there's nothing wrong with it. What a dick solution.

Your existence is futile. Read up the word balance, realize that a shotgun having the same recoil as an SMG even when doing a simple 2 round burst is ridiculous.


This gun is dead to me until it's fixed. Most people claim you can shoot 1 round at a time, you cannot, it only two round bursts.

Some people claim they can run and gun, which is bull****, and which is the main feature of a medic, running.

You fire this gun for any spurt of time and you are slowed as if you just fired the Hunting Shotgun. Idiotic. It doesn't need to be able to kill a fleshpound, but not being able to outrun a ****ing crawler or move fluidly is just stupid.

ALSO, don't know if anyone has noticed, but the darts ALSO add recoil to your movement, stopping you instantly.

What kind of ****ing third tier weapon for the medic essentially negates an entire Perk aspect, that is the ability to run faster than everyone.





EDIT: Here's why all these theories that it is balanced is entirely wrong:

I went through every single weapon in the game just now, I bought and shot every weapon whilst running in a test map. In no instance, did any weapon slow me to a stop that wasn't a rocket launcher or a shotgun.

Even the grenade launchers can run and gun. That's saying something right there. That the only three weapons that have an kind of movement depleting recoil are the rocket launcher, the shotguns, and, what the ****, THE MP7.

You cannot ever convince me that it was due to balance. What that is, is one of the biggest mistakes I've seen in this game, destroying a perk with one aspect.

I know this gun shouldn't be damage buffed because the would get in on the territory of other guns but for god sake improve the accuracy or the recoil of it then. Some times it feels like the bullets are coming out the barrel at a 45-90 degree angle! Is that even possible?

People keep saying "you're not a damage dealer" "get a new weapon" but this usless advice from people who have clearly not played medic falls on its arse for two reasons,

1) As it's already been said killing is the only way to get money in this game so you NEED to get some kills to buy a second weapon. Healing doesn't earn jack ****. And no I can't ask someone to buy me a weapon because they won't. And asking them to would probably get a "**** off nub" response. This is online gaming people! Relying solely on the kindness of others to survive here is even more retarded an idea than it is in real life.

2) Why put a useless gun in the game? If the medic guns function is solely to heal as some people are saying why bother attaching a weapon part to it at all? Why not just make it so the medic gets a dartgun instead of a syringe? Bottom line is if you're going to put a weapon in the game you damn well better be sure it ****ing kills things.

No one is expecting a balance killing super gun here, we just want it to be useful for something, for ANYTHING.

Medic speed > all other classes

Medic speed with MP7 < all other classes

Medic damage resistance > all other classes

Medics involvement in actual battle < all other classes

I've used the MP7M and it works as intended. The recoil is a bit excessive, but you're not a Sharpshooter, Support Specialist, or Commando ...

You're a Field Medic. The Field Medic should be within a squad or at the rear of the squad maintaining health and survivability. If you're standing in front trying to gun down a bunch of specimens then you should reconsider your perk choice.

And if there's a teammate that needs to be healed right NOW next to it, it leaps for the final blow and there are 3 more coming for your ally who's caught in some reload animation?
I'd just kill the crawler, immediately shoot a healing dart into the ally (not enough time for 2) while at the same time aiming for the other 2 crawlers, shoot a bit and, hey, reload animation followed by dead ally cause those little bastards easily chew away what 1 healing dart of a lv6 medic heals.

I think every ranged gun should be able to at least properly deal with the weakest zed in the whole game; bloody crawlers.
Why would I need to pop another gun out for THAT?
This isn't even about dealing massive damage or taking pounds on, it's about swatting bugs.

The MP7M does seem to have a rather troublesome accuracy rating.
