I know very little about the Portuguese role in WWI. Didn't they send two divisions to France in 1917? And weren't they equipped with British gear/uniforms/weapons?
a cool extra feature when the mod is already developped: fanatic african troops from the french colonies with machetes, i've read somewhere that if the germans saw them comming, they fled
Hate to be the fun/realism police but the picklehaube was actually just a piece of boiled leather, so I don't think there was much stabbing power in that.
However, there will be trench clubs which should handle all of your close combat needs.
And yes we're still alive. Again it's just slow going.
Seriously cannot wait for this mod, way too few WW1 themed FPS'/games out there.
Seeing as your going for early war battles, will you have any maps based on the battle of Mons? One based on the battle/retreat from Nimy rail bridge could be good.
I wonder if the mod guys are preparing stuff to help TWI promote the game. Would be awesome with some ICV and IE media releases these days to spark extra interest in RO2 as a whole =).
You know what would be great is if they had tanks in this, and once the western part of world war I is dead, do the eastern front with the tricycle tank LOL.
Hello. Iron Europe is a excelent mod idea as like other 2 of them. I have a suggestion to mod team. Gallipoli battle is one of the bloodiest battle ever. It has severel locations and could give excellent ideas to you guys.
There is a wiki page but If you want to think seriusly about it I could give you guys more ( but simple ) info about that war.
