I do see the same 30-40 or so people post here, but there are definitely a lot of people who lurk the forums. Just try using your forum name in-game...

Forums supported by the masses??

Ok, so what can we do about all this "reposting" stuff? my idea would be that a mod can replace it with the other post(s) about the topic, that is unless if the fluff of the post is different enough to deserve its own post.

It's not so much a lot of people reposting stuff. The problem arises when a new user (or old user for that matter) neglects to use the search function or simply browses to see if there is a thread already started. The worst of these are the M16like threads and such, rather than bringing something new to the mix, i.e., a different take or idea. It's simply another "+1 to this idea". Without justifying why. (not so much a problem on an active thread but still)
Short of mods and admins enforcing some draconian measures and thus making this forum an unfriendly place. All we can do is try to encourage users search and bring something new to the conversation.
To new bloods: I know its frustrating when your ideas get shot down but it's less likely to happen if some thought goes into the post. And what most people want to see is what the idea can bring to the game rather than just another gun/ZED model. Think balanced and/or fun game play and originality here. They are big winners.
To long tooth's: Exercise some patience, we all know what the internet is like. Unfortunately its not likely to change so all we can do is hope to educate and hope that they pick up on our way of doing things and become valuable members.
