Does anybody like the new Scrake design?

There are some designs in KF2 I don't like very much (the new mr. Foster LargeMcHuge, the new FP) and some I like more (crawlers) but the one that's really bothering me is the scrake.

The scrake used to look cold and threatening, but still calm and almost human. Like he was the only zed that still had some consciousness in him but just enjoyed killing. Pretty cool IMO.

Now in KF2 the style is completely different, and scrake looks like a drooling r*tard:

"OOGA BOOGA"

"SH*T, I DUNNO"

It's like scrake has lost all his dignity now. The googly eyes and the weird throat-mouth don't help one bit. Is there anybody else who liked the previous model more?

E: Sorry about the images, apparently they can't be shrinked

I think it is the fact that they changed his apron from a grey-blue to brown. He doesn't stand out as much.

Example here is one picture.

And here is a crappy edit I did.

it's true that the graphics on that map do look quite cartoony and what's with the aurora borealis? not exactly killing floor.

and the scrake is quite cartoony. i think it is abit more original than the kf1 scrake but the kf1 scrake was very horror themed. kf1 scrake may have been unbelievable but atleast it was dark. kf2 scrake is unbelievable and not very dark.

main problem for me is the absolutley ridiculous looking player characters.
i just want to see camoflauge, blue, helmets and gas masks. :(

edit: instead of a apron i think a torn white sheet would look good over the scrake. sort of like a plain white hospital gown but torn and covered with dirt and blood. more like kf1 scrake but without the trousers and with the ballistic mask instead of surgeon mask.

Scrake looks s#1it in those photos.
It has lost its ethos.

Before it looked like the Chainsaw was an after thought, in the same way the story of the zeds go, he was designed to be a surgeon for battle use, but was bonkers, so he had a mask put on him to protect the makers.
Then Kevin Clamely attached a chain saw and left the mask, making him look restricted from biting, but then had a massive chainsaw attached, which made him kind of creepy, in a 2 minded way.
All the other zeds attack on site, pretty much.
But the scrake always had that sense that he was slowly coming to you with the intention to help (the mask hid something, and the chainsaw was the only thing that said stay away) and then he was going to go ballistic if it got to close, in a mind rage of what was done to him, to make him that way.

With the new teethy mask, it is like it is set to always attack. yet before it was more about keeping away and everything would be right.

His internal anger & destruction was something that was always a side product of the gentic manipulation, rather than the underlying purpose like most of the rest.
Scrakes purpose was to heal, unfortunately, he is also very confused...he thinks blood is to heal.

Then again, i really like the pirouette the new one does!

I can't grasp the shape of his face and mask. In this photo
...

it seems a full face protection mask, hockey style.
It's confusing me.:(
front: http://postimg.org/image/o06o0phff/
side: http://postimg.org/image/e7wx608bf/

green = face mask
red = some brown strap covering top-side of face mask or a blood mark
yellow = possible continuation of blood mark
blue = skull, back of it destroyed from player damage or scrake just has back of his skull gone

that's what i see

No, I do not like his current design.

He looks kinda like the blind psycho freak from Resident Evil 4 mixed with Doom 3 styled mobs. Not creepy, just flicked with parts together, which cannot be recognized.

I would prefer the Scrake to remain his mask (metal is OK) but his body must be visibly durable without heavy armor. Variating blood paint on his body would be awesome too.

Now all the Scrake needs is a BOOMSTICK. :D

"It's a twelve-gauge, double-barreled Remington. S-Mart's top of the line. You can find this in the sporting goods department. That's right, this sweet baby was made in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Retails for about $109.95. It's got a walnut stock, cobalt-blue steel, and a hair trigger. That's right... shop smart: shop S-Mart... You got that?"
