Instead of that weird idea about an SS guy (didn't excist) could you use the Feldgentarmee. This was the German MP who were at the back of the battle getting everyone who was scared and ran towards Germany (cowards).
This idea sounds fun though this would be a lame excuse for TK's.

Thanks for that. I had forgotten what the "proper" name for this kind of officer was (in my suggestion I simply referred to them as political officers).
