I guess you're thinking of that scene from 'Letters from Iwo Jima'
From what I've read they either struck them against their Helmets, but the more common method was against the Rifle Stock.I guess you're thinking of that scene from 'Letters from Iwo Jima'
The Type 91, 97 and 99 all where armed by "pulling the Pin" and striking the cap, only the Type 23 wasn't, that had a pull lanyard to arm itThough, gotta admit that I don't know if grenade really needed to be hit on something to arm it.
I think you can take it that we will do as many types of grenades as we have resources to do - this means getting one very common variant and FULLY implementing that (model, texture, animations, code, sound) before even thinking about adding more.
Very nice.
Thanks for the quick answer.
Will we be able to pick up grenades that are on the ground, from fallen soldiers of either side??
No prob - I personally like the idea of ceramic nades, but apart from evading modern airport security, I can't really see the point in them.
