Whats next for the makers of RO?

after this game. i know its a long way to thing ahead, but what do you think the next step will be?
The same game on a new engine? A westernfront?
Just asking oppinions and such since i have nothing better to do on a friday night with a broken leg

Patching and developing new content for RO:OST, releasing the map editor and SDK. before moving on for another game utilizing the Unreal 3.0 engine

I would Love to see a Westernfront done by these guys
i know there is already an Afrika Front being done
but i dunno
maybe someone will make and westernfront mod
But always games sold in retail are more played, usually

I believe their next-gen Unreal Engine 3.0 powered game will be a Red Orchestra sequel.

But I think that if Tripwire would hop over from the Ostfront scene to anyother thing, they are doomed.
So I don't think they'll be making a Westernfront game.

I have to disagree. I would love to see other parts of WWII with this realism level. I don't think TW will only make East front games, if they do - then they are doomed.

Yeah shooting shermans with Tigers will be ... well easy , though any Front (Alien vs. Predator would be nice) with this Realism Level would be cool with me.

And no there is no good Alien vs. Predator Game out there.

I'm hoping that they come trough on their single-player game some day, and that it's set in the East, with missions for both sides and good tactical control over squadmates.

Psh, hardly. The Eastern Front was the biggest and the bloodiest. There is plenty to do.

I would like to see TW stick with the ostfront scenerio on the new engine. They have the historical expertice already and the atmosphere is perfected as well. If they were to move on I think TW could do a good job on WWI Europe or WWII Pacific Theater.

An Old West scenario would be hard to do with multiplayer content IMO. Single player could be done quite nicely. However I would hope that TW sticks with multiplayer.

I too am waiting for a good western. I think it will take a good story line. Or perhaps taken from a movie, who knows. Their is also plenty to do with multiplayer.
What about every player in the same story line, not neccessarily team against team. Just a thought.
