I'll just spoiler my rant from elsewhere.

Spoiler!

TLDR: Planetside 2-esqe 3rd person massive online shooter. (What a mouthful.) Ork Boyz will be the only F2P race/class. The rest are all paid for, no mention of being earned in game. Monetization scheme revolves around paid execution animations for trolling players and the desire to not be a bullet sponge for paying customers playing Space Marines who are "the equal of 3 to 5" Ork Boyz. Claims their pricing scheme will be "lower than Guild Wars 2."

Playable sometime in 2015. The article has promised features coming out of every orifice, from destructible terrain to guild strike cruisers and personal housing, 3 month long campaigns and vehicles, elected war councils planning faction objectives, PvE content. You name it, they're probably promising it.

It sounds awesome, if it didn't sound like a horrifying P2W trainwreck waiting to happen. The developers, Behavioral, have been around for quite a while. They've made a ton of shovelware. The only game they've made that I've played is Mercenaries 2: World In Flames. Which was fun, but not amazing. They also made WET and Naughty Bear, which were pretty widely panned. They haven't made an MMO before.

The only thing that makes me more suspicious about a game with "Massive" in the genre description is when it's going to be F2P...

F2P isn't always bad -- there are occasional gems out there. I'm playing at least 2 F2P games right now nearly all the time that are quite high quality. But yes, the majority are worth ignoring.
