We need better AT weapons...

Played the beta today...playing with AT rifles it's a suicide when facing T34's or PZ4's...you need to hit a very very precise spot to cause damage and that isnt even enough to destroy it. It's like having to do the deathstar destruction weakspot scene everytime infantry is against tanks.

What we need:

Improvised AT grenades:

Geballte Ladung
Double RPG-40 grenades

Anti tank mines...we need them badly.

And this...what we need: Movable AT guns or emplacement weapons in specified terrain covering a wide area with several rounds types.

Pak36, Pak38, Pak40...Flak 36

M42, ZIS 2, ZIS 3...Model 39 (In 85mm).

Also a good counter to tanks is smoke to block their view. Also the use of sporadic fire and grenades will cause suppresion and may pyschologically force the Armor Player to displace his position.

The idea is great, but there are enough possiblities to destroy tanks:

- other tanks
- AT-Rifle
- Satchels
- AT-Grenades
- Artillery( don't know how effective)

The problem is, ppl don't use it as intended, for examp. at-rifle-sniper, etc.

from what i under stand what the Germans had two types of anti tank rockets, one was basically a copy of the US bazooka though much more powerful and with a blast shield for the user, And the panzer Faust which was a disposable single shot launcher with a shape charge rocket, was sead to be able to go straight through front armour of a Sherman, in the battle for berlin the weapon was accountable for the lose of over 400 soviet tanks from memory,

so yeah ether of those would be good, Germans did not have very good aerial anti-tank weapons which is one of the reasons they lost the war. if they had devoloped anti-tank rockets like the allies had they might have been able to deal with the swarm of russian armour,
