To those who use xfire

After the latest install of RO, it no longer appears in my installed game part of xfire thus when i play it doesnt tell others i am, could someone be so kind to get the game path line in the ro section of their installed games, go to tools/options/games/ro and get the game path please.

Not sure this is what you want, but my path to RO is simply: C:\Steam

In other words your main Steam directory.

I think xfire is going to have to include the RO files that they use in a new patch because i have tried just about every file that inlcude RO

Check out the workaround I've come up with in this thread.

Just a temp fix, quick and dirty to get around the issue until xfire updates, but seems to do the trick for me.

Because Xfire nolonger knows how to launch the game. It will require a update from the xfire devs.

The new file system is the cause of the problems. You used the beta and haven't deleted your .gfc files, which is why you are still working.

ah, an unfortunate side effect. they update pretty regularly, so it should be a short problem.
