Where did you get it from?
There are people on ebay claiming they're selling the English version of ArmA, I thought it hasn't been released outside of the Czech republic yet?

Jasperson, I am not going to lie to you: This will be painful.
The game will run, but it will chug when the cool things starts to happen.
There is a czech->english translation patch available now, btw. I will be getting the german version, for sure!

Yeah I'm totally fine with waiting to get it, full well knowing I will be playing a less http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k6DeWUTA4EQ version (I have to admit I would be laughing to hard to care how unrealistic that looked). Still peeved about no bi-pods though, haven't heard any comments on the grenade throw system, is the exact same as OFP's? Also, shouldn't a ArmA release thread be made now? I mean not only is this the "waiting for release" thread but, at 19 pages, its getting a bit long in the tooth IMHO.

The grenade system in ArmA isn't significantly changed from OFP in any way, last I checked - at least not when it comes to throwing them.

Honestly, this game has optimization issues.
I can play Red Orchestra just fine (>60 fps) on 1152x864, on the Czech version of Armed Assault however, I can only get up to 30 fps if I run it on 640x480 with EVERYTHING on it's lowest setting.

Is anyone else who has this having trouble with the AI in the editor? They just dont seem to noticed enemies at all until they're right on top of them.

I don't understand, whats the difference between blood running down a guys arm and a big bullet hole in a guys eye where you can practically see the guys brain, and RO's dismemberment?

I ordered mine from http://armamods.net. I got the German version + shipping for around $70 something US Dollars. I don't know how long it will take to ship to the U.S. Hopefully, not more than 2 weeks. Anyone know?
