posting this request for a friend. i am behind this change 100% but am not the author. we just want to see if this is a possibility?

This has been mentioned by a lot of players since the release of RS. A lot of RO2-only players would greatly appreciate having an option to revert the game's GUI (Splash screen, menu music, main menu etc) back to the pre-RS update RO2 GUI. Which means no mention of RS except when joining an RS server. This is because that quite a few of RO2 only players simply do not like RS being pasted all over the game, and just want their Eastern Front focused GUI back.
There has been threads/posts requesting the feature on the Steam Discussions as well. (Links below) An example of this would be Company Of Heroes 2 with the Western Front Expansion. The game changes the menu background and music accordingly to what you chose in the main menu. (Ostfront background and music for Soviet/Ostheer, Westfront background and music for USF/Oberkommando West) This will make the RO2 only playerbase happier and since it's an option, it won't be a bother to RS players.
If Tripwire doesn't want to split the playerbase then this is the perfect addition. Enter your vote and/or post your opinion below! Some examples of the threads on the Steam discussions. There's a lot more on the discussions, just search with the tags of "old menu" "Menu switch" and the like.

I've posted this a while ago, but it's really awkward how instead of showing a map of the Eastern front, they show the Pacific map in German and Russian languages instead. These people might be happier if they showed Stalingrad instead.

(found these somewhere a long time ago, looks way better than how it is now)
