Stream Workshop Steam Workshop Problem: "Item state is 8"

Hello,

I am unable to download steam workshop content since the new update. Does anyone know what item state "8" is? There is a guide here that claims that it has something to do with running multiple servers.

I do, do this. However I tested running a single server with custom workshop content in it, and it still gives me state "8".

I am trying to update the HopelessDemocracy.com Killing Floor 2 servers, however when I try to redownload them to get a fresh cache of all the custom maps I get this in the console:

Try to clean completely your workshop caches for the items concerned following instructions here http://forums.tripwireinteractive.co...7&postcount=20

I don't have this workshop_log on Linux to compare but it seems you are unable to connect to the 'content servers'

edit: I checked and these items on workshop did not receive any update since july and october so if you had these items on your server before the last KF2 update you don't need to update them, I think your problem is that you are unable to connect to 'content servers' as the error in log suggest. Maybe it is temporary error due to steam going down, or your internet routing failing to connect to the servers, or maybe another issue related to your firewall?

What happens when you join your server on the map Aphrodite (item 785576438)?
