Level Design RSObjectiveMarkerFlareDispenser

I may have gotten the exact name wrong. I see it placed in little clusters around the red and green flare emitters around Guadalcanal. I can't seem to figure out what their purpose is, as they are seemingly not referenced by Kismet and have no special properties that link it to the emitter either.

Anyone know what these are for?

Whenever the attacking team's commander makes an order to attack a certain objective, a flare will be shot above it. This is the equivalent of the colored smoke for night maps.

I am aware of that, but it looks to me like the RSObjectiveMarkerDispenser doesn't actually serve any purpose, as the flare emitter does pretty much all the work.

Oh well, if I can get it to work using only emitters, sound cues, and Kismet, I'll just do that. I'm just curious to find out what this actor does.
