I'm having the same issue. Trying to boot from steam and nothing happens. Try to boot from the directory and I get the same error but a different .dll file. (faultrep.dll). I have verified everything. I have tried running the redis but it "fails to install MSCharts" so that doesn't work. I tried repairing my registry with ccleaner and have also ran the cmd thing you explained. I've also reinstalled it. Did you guys ever figure this out? I want to play RO2.
