RO2/RS - Some suggestions and ideas

Hi guys, I've been playing Red Orchestra since its launch and I thought that some new weapons would be really nice.
While playing Ostfront 41-45 I appreciated the weapon variety, so here's my ideas :

- M1938 Carbine (Karabin obrazets 1938-ogo goda)
- G43
- P08 Luger (I know that they became rare because they were replaced by P38s)
- MP41

Also, what about having a new "upgrade" (weapon level 50) for the sniper variant of the MN 91/30 ?
I was thinking something like this :

I would also love to see a Zeltbahn for german snipers (heroes obviously) and its counterpart for russian snipers.

And last but not least, what about soviet women (snipers and tankers) ? Maybe with the possibility to spawn randomly as a man or a woman (something like 80% man/20% woman).

Let me know what you think about those ideas (woman fighters are very unlikely to be added in RO2 and I am quite skeptical about that, I just threw it in to know what you think).

That's simple enough, I could probably do it if I wasn't bogged down already.

It's a cool idea, but it's never happening, the amount of work is just too large. Even if someone makes a model you'd have to find a voice actor, an incredible feat in itself.

I'm fairly sure I've seen in various threads where the G43 and MP41 are community WIP's. I could be confused though, it happens often.

All of the weapons you've mentioned are being worked on or exist or are planned to be made for the Red Orchestra 2 Mod called Immersion Overhaul Mutator.

I remember Soviet females in Call of Duty 2. They were relatively rare and checking on their role in the game files, they were supposed to be medics. They were armed with MN1891/38 and on very rare occasions they carried a SVT40. There was an Axis Player mod that allows you to play as the Germans - well simple skin switch that's all. You could encounter and eventually kill them as they charged at you "Die Fascist!"

However, the amount of women in arms definitely was very narrow. No war party really utilized women as regular soldiers. The German Volkssturm indeed also had women fighting but the Volkssturm - if portrayed at all - will never be what it really was: Children and old folks as the Nazi regime had already wasted the rest in large amounts. I highly doubt that a mod which allowed you to either fight as Hitler Youth or kill them would ever get whitelisted.

Women however are a different story. I believe in equality and equal rights (to catch a bullet). I remember the uproar about BF4 featuring female soldiers, totally normal in the PLA. Players and especially the femnazi movement raged how women again are oppressed and toys in a male driven society. Damn boy, so much for the wish for equality.

The Zeltbahn was actually in the game files of RO2, however majorly bugged. Dibbler and Crew are currently on fixing this.
Same goes for new weapons. IOM brings you a lot of new weapons.

@Beskar, I know the mod, but I didn't know that they were working on those weapons, thanks for letting me know

@Raven1986 yeah, I will definetely check WF thread, I already follow their moddb page and I think I'll download it soon
