With all the community maps and other mods being made the KF2 Steam Workshop should be available soon.

Anyone can upload and submit their content. it even has a work-in-progress section.

If/when KF2 gets a Workshop it probably wont happen until the game gets full mod support. Only maps are supported right now. Hex is going away and I don't see TW supporting it by allowing that on the workshop after showing intent to disable it. The game still is EA and this is probably one of many things on the roadmap for full release. Considering Workshop one of the easiest ways for players to find and use mods for Steam games and TW has done it with the past 3 games, the odds are good for KF2.

Workshop would be better if there was a download link with instructions or if it downloads in a mods>(modname) folder rather than system where everything is jumbled up.

This is why I've always hated and never used the Workshop for any game.

Steam needs a mod manager, a very basic one will even do.
