recycling crates and encrypted USB

Please TWI let us recycle those crates and encrypted USB.
we can't sell them (even at 0.01€ nobody buy it) and even if i open some of them it keep filling my inventory.
why can't we recycle crates in cosmetic common crafting material and USB in weapon common crafting material?

what they should do is lower key price to 1-2 $

well for me a key cost 2,20€ so no big deal but i have a new crate/usb almost every day i play KF2 and i don't want to spend ~60€/month to empty my inventory.
i have crates on the market at 0.03€ waiting to be sell since september...
As s5yn3t said, at least let us delete those useless items

There's a group in steam called "trashbot" where there are always folks who accept all kind of things like crates and coupons. You can trade all your junk to one of them, if you don't mind giving it for free.

This is just a temp solution though, having a delete button would be nice indeed.

I think that Tripwire has no say in this, but VALVe.

And I dont think that Valve want people to destroy stuff which you potentially could sell on the market.

if they allow us to recycle crate and usb it will be better for the market:
Right now, crates and usb sell on the market don't generate a lot of money i guess, because their are thousands of them on the market at 0.03€, and nobody really buy those because, almost everyone might have their inventory full of those crates & usb. So no big money for steam with the crates right now.

But, if we recycle them, people will turn them into items that can be sell on the market, and at the same time, reduce the number of crates & usb on the market wich will increase their value.

I think part of the issue would be what effect it had on the market. People were not so happy way back when they were having to buy a crate for $1 and buy a key.

that might have been on the days of a drop per week, sounds unlikely to have to worry about running out of supply nowadays.

another nice idea i read recently was having a chance to get drops multiple times a day, depending on winning or losing, gives old players an extra incentive, currently some people just suicide farm their daily drop.

Ok, so people didn't buy them because they were too expensive and they don't buy them now because that's all we get.

I hate them, I've said it on here and on reddit about 50000 times. I can't sell them, they take up potential cosmetic drops, I have about 25 for sale right now. Good god let me do something with these things because I haven't had one sell in months...

Warning, a bit of disdain in these links:

There's more, but that's probably enough links and a lot of posts are scattered in threads that don't specifically relate to crate/usb issues.
