Random Reload Animations

Like instead of reloading your mosin the same way every time maybe make 2 or 3 different animations where they reload it a different way. Like for the PPSh Maybe instead of just putting the drum back in he slaps it or puts it in a differnt way. Little things to "polish" the game a bit.

Agreed. There are hardly any games with such a feature, and there are other more important things to "polish" in RO.

It would be cool, though.

i made a topic along these lines a little while ago, but my idea for the variations was that you would have different ones depending on weather or not the amo box was "heavy" or "light" so that you could get rid or that part of the hud and intigrate it seemlessly into the game.

It would be sweet to if say you were taking lots of fire from machine guns and grenades were going of and arty was all around you could sometimes drop you clip or magazine and then have to pick it up or leave it and grab another one. This could maybe be determined by the amount of blur you had or something.

Well I don't know about dropping your magazine (seeing as how picking anything up in this game is hard as hell) but having a "supressed" reload would be cool (where it takes you a second or 2 longer because your fumbling around with the magazine). Also, except for the PPSH/PPD's drum magazine and the mgs mags, there will very little difference in weight between a full and almost empty magazine and would not warrant different reload animations. While I like the idea, it seems like it would be to much work for to little result.

I promote this idea btw, it would add to the feeling you are there... The next step would be that it's way harder to reload whilst in combat (drops magazine etc)

I've been wondering why nobody has been putting this concept
into any FPSs, the closest thing to it is probably DOOM 3's random
shotgun pumping animation lol, which looks damn cool

Yes, you never see this feature in a game. But I expect we might be seeing more stuff like this in the future. It would certainly add spice.

There are probably thousands of more prioritized things for this game so yeah suggest it but I wont support it until we have virtual reality head sets and full graphics that look like real life. That said, idea is too small.
