Proper procedure for reinstalling a Steam game

Hi guys,

I've been having some crashing issues on a particular map that I have not been able to remedy. I'm looking at reinstalling, however I'd like to know what the proper procedure is.

As stated in the title, I've purchased and downloaded RO2 from Steam. How exactly would one go about reinstalling RO2?

Also, will a reinstall fix anything that a verification of cache integrity won't?

When you validate files does it say any files are corrupted?

No, all files successfully validate.

is it a stock map or from the workshop? the workshop can cause problems. I dl them from the map forum here.

Won`t deleting the ro2 folder in my documents / my games solve it?

The map is Apartments.

Not worried about uninstalling, just wasn't sure if there was some special reinstall procedure due to being downloaded through Steam.
