Check it out here: http://www.moddb.com/mods/4961/paranoia

It is simply incredible what these modders have been able to do with the Half-Life 1 engine (no ****); they've developed projected flashlights, partial lighting (you can light up parts of characters now, instead of their whole body), bump mapping, gloss, detail textures, and 3D skyboxes. It's coming December 3, and it's going to be an early christmas for me, hurrr :)

Oh, and Spetsnaz + Zombies. How can you possibly go wrong with that?! :D

Wait, what? That's Half-Life 1? Jesus that looks incredible! I honestly thought I was looking at a STALKER mod for a second.

But yeah, I'm digging the Spetsnaz v. Zombie aspect of the project. Definitely keeping a close eye on this one for sure.

I'm thinking of contributing some textures to this project, so I'll let you all know how that goes!

I mean, holy crap dude, if it weren't for the FPS view and the NPCs around, you could almost pass that off for a real picture! They've really outdone themselves...

They were actually considering implementing dynamic shadows, but they soon found out it resulted in balls performance so they left it out. They're still considering it for a possible future patch, but not included with the first release. ;)

Just singleplayer. So far, at least :3

And for those asking about the potential gameplay: http://www.moddb.com/mods/4961/paranoia/features/23846/paranoia Please note that this link is based off a much earlier build of Paranoia (it was written in June but released months later, actually), and that the team has addressed the issues the previewer has spoke of.

Yes, this works with Steam HL1.
