One Hit Tank Kill

Is this even possible? some guy in a T-34 was taking me out in one or 2 shots hitting the front of my tank, where there is the most armor. AND I was in a feakin Tiger. Then I was in a panzer squared up, sure enough one shot and boom!!!! Im pretty sure that there really arn't any "One Hit" tank kills in this game so it's most likely a hack. Hope this doesn't turn into MOHAA where alot people using cheats.....

Im aware of the armor issue, but this guy was doin it to everyone one after another, so im guessing its cheats I can understand if it happens once in a while. But this defenetly was no fluke.

You "squared up"? Angle the tank instead. He obviously was a guy who had learnt how to use tanks properly and had learnt where the one-shot-kill spots are.

Read the tutorials and you'll find this happening a lot less.

I actually got one-shotted with a PTRD twice on Bondarevo today. Not entirely sure how it happened, since I was in a Pz III and then a Pz IV. Literally one shot and boom. That should not be happening.

just starts to get annoying when you throw serveral shells at the guy and he turns around and boom!! one shot kill. It happened to me like 5 times yesterday.

I only use the 1 shot kill areas when I'm with a PTRD. In tanks, it never appears to work.

How could there possibly be a one-shot-kill hack with tanks? The server would need to be hacked as well, and possibly even more.

The only way to do something like that would be with an aimbot -- to aim for the precise place where a tank can be killed with one shot. Which would mean that a one-shot kill would also be possible without any "help."

I didn't say it was hacks. I'm saying that the penetration code is borked in a way that affects PTRD penetration on tanks. It's possible, albeit unlikely, that you can get one-shot kills on vehicles with more armor than the rifle was capable of penetrating.

its the amo box baby its all about the amo box. (unless you hear the "ping" it means the shell penetrated... now if you know where to aim and the shell penetrates its BOOM like cash money in the bag)

The PTRD has the mysterious ability to 1 shot kill tanks.

Even the Panzer III and StuG III have more than 25mm of armour (except at the bottom, but that's a non-factor unless it's coming up from a hill).and at more than a 90 degree angle, which is what teh PTRD requires. One shot kills with the PTRD is BS, that thing can't hurt any of the tanks in the game. Too bad they didn't put in lend-lease bazookas for mid to late war maps. All you need in the early war maps is a satchel charge.

PTRD can take the treads out of any tank. Hopefully in the future it will also be able to screw up turrets, knock out optics, and other fun things like that

I know that at least off line one IS-2 AP to the turret of a PzKpfW IV (I think) takes it out. On Arad at least.
