Native Voice option resets on restart

as the title says every time i load HoS i have to remember to go into audio options and turn native voices back on. any ideas? can i manually add it to a config file or something so it stays on? cheers.

Did you happen to make your config files read only?

not that i know of, ive changed nothing in them. Went looking for them (found them in user) and did a search for native & voices but couldnt find any option line refering to them?

Edit: just checked and they were read only, the contents on my docs becomes read only for sequential backup files on my system. why are game configs in my games in my docs since they're configuration files and not documents??? anyway have added an exception rule for its location so hopefully it should work now. thanks!
