Some questions on maps, mice and joysticks:

1. How do I steer a tank turret (vertically and horizontally) with a mouse?

2. All my joysticks seem to send a signal to RO, so that I constantly look at my feet or to the right. These joysticks work perfectly with other games. What is wrong with RO, where can I correct the failure?

While tilting the stick works ok,

1) you don't, it is hard coded to keyboard for a reason

2) In the redorchestra.ini you can tweak the joystick code, I believe several people know links to good places to find info on joystick code in unreal engine games around here.

3) When you download a map in game it goes to your cache folder. You have to manually remove it or set you cache never to clear, other wise after several days RO will clear out your cache.

1. Has already been answered, (But I wish they simulated the manual gun-laying by varying the output of analog controls). The elevation and fine traverse on these tanks was through hand-wheels, not pump-jacks. Although, the power-traverse should be an on-off, (or fast-slow) kind of thing.

2a. See this for the looking down thing.
