I'm not sure whats going on here but I'm just about ready to toss my old 1U server off the balcony at this point.
I'm running Linux Mint on an old server.
I have SteamCMD installed, and I got KF2 installed. I fellow the instructions on the Wiki for launching the server:
Now this is where the issue comes into play. I can't find a single generated config file for editing. I also have to kill the terminal using CTRL+Z as typing quit or exit doesn't kill the server. Server seems to be running fine tho.
Thinking it may be a permission thing, I ran the server command line using root. Still no server config files were generated.
Anyone know what it is that I am doing incorrect ?
