Killing Floor 2 crashes after start up splash

After yesterday's update (April 14), Killing Floor 2 crashes directly after the start up splash. I was playing it just fine the 13th, the night before. I'm running Windows 10, but my other two friends running Windows 7 can launch it just fine.

So far I've tried:

• Verifying integrity of game cache
• Reinstalling the whole game and rebooting
• Changing physx to run from cpu
• Changing Killing Floor 2 to run with secondary graphics card
• Running it as administrator in windows 7 compatibility mode
• Reinstalling PhysX
• Removing the "KillingFloor2" folder from my documents, my games

Nothing has worked so far.

Computer Specs:
Windows 10 64bit
AMD FX-8350
8GB RAM
Nividia GeForce GTX 960

I know this is going to sound crazy but hear me out. If you have tried everything and it's still crashing after splash screen, change your avatar to the required size of 184x184px, don't let steam scale it down. I tried for 2 days with all these fixes and nothing worked, changed my pic size and it suddenly does. Don't doubt it, try it! Fingers crossed for you mate, i know the frustration of this problem.
