We recently added a new tool to the engine for Killing Floor 2 to assist level designers implementing versus survival maps. We already have the ability to flag KFSpawnVolumes, using the No Player bit in the properties, so that Human ZED will not spawn in the volumes; however, there is a take over system that would allow human ZED to take over AI ZED in the world. This led to issues where the players could inadvertently get stuck in a spawn such as when a KFPawnBlockingVolume is being used to inhibit Human Mercs and Human ZED from or allowing the Human ZED to see outside the play space into the void or otherwise areas that the player shouldn't be become accessible.

Enter the KFVersusNoTakeoverVolume. Use this volume to encase an area that you never want the Human ZED to takeover an AI ZED. While the ZED are inside the volume the engine will not allow for Human ZED to take them over.

This new volume should be available whenever we push another update to the engine and the editor.
