[Error] K98 Scoped awards x2 kills

Kar98 still awards x2 kills after the recent patch/update. I know since I have not shot a k98 scoped before (after I reset stats manually two days ago).

Don't know whether the same is true for other scoped rifles (or other weapons; MN, k98 normal, DP, MP40, SVT, MkB, revolver, g41 were all okay).

Are you confusing kills with kill points?

If you shoot someone in a game it is classed a 1 kill, when your points are totalled at the end of the round, you will get 2 kill points allocated to your weapon for each kill you got using it.

The levelling up is based on kill points not actual kills. If you check your weapon stats, you will see it says kill points, not kills for that weapon, only on your over all page does it state you actual amount of kills in the game. I know it is confusing because the progress bar at the end of the round says kills, but it is actually kill points
