July 27th patch causes massive server lag?

I've noticed this the last couple days, on several servers (TWB, RO.ru, 40-1 etc) - suddenly the ping for everyone increases massively for a while and then settles again after a while.

On RO.ru servers I've seen everyone with 980 pings and the game unplayable, for other servers 300-400 where it normally is is 50-100-150.

I'm sure a lot of others have seen this as it is on he big, most populated servers.

Do RO2 server admins regularly run some kind of statistics on cpu, load etc? It would be interesting to compare with earlier before 27/7 patch.

I've noticed a number of these Spikes occur when a Recon plane has been sent overhead, spotting 30 players on the map. Information overload perhaps?

My game is not so smooth as before. Defenetly!

I only notice lag spikes on servers with punkbuster enabled.
