The pillars will go down the soon you touch them, so keep jumping. You need to jump the pillars in the right combination, which is usually zig zagging from left row to right row, although you could do it another way too if you really want.
I am stuck on this puzzle with the spike pit with 6 or so moving towers. I can make 3 jumps if lucky but by then the towers have all been raised I am too low, and I see no way to get to the next pillar where I would jump to the player button. What is the correct order to do the towers?
SIGH.... I am making 5 jumps and I have a feeling it has to be done in 4. PLEASE help an old lady with more clues or I will be dreaming this puzzle in my sleep! Thanks
But if not... The pillars are colour-coded. And when you step on one tower all with the same colour also move (up or down depending on where they are). For me it took 7 jumps to get across. And I have to have the three first raised and the others down. The first and last tower is green. Second left is yellow, second right pink. the two furtherst to the sides are both green. The two just before the last one is left pink and right yellow (opposite to number 2 and 3). So I go like this: first forward (green) - second forward to the left (yellow) - third right (pink) [at this moment the last tower (green) is sinking and the four others infront of you is rising] - fourth forward to the right (green) [after this the last green will rise again] - fifth forward to the left (yellow) - sixth forward to the left (green) - and finally a last jump straight forward.
The pillars will fall on you touch them, so skip. You have to jump the pillars of the right combination, usually in a zig zag row from left to right line, but also could do something else, if you really want.
