Sorry for the awkward title as I couldn't really find a proper definition for this.
Checked a few pages in here, and didn't anything on this particular issue. Could very well be known but I've never encountered it until now.
Could also just be a result of how I'm getting off the HMG from firing as opposed to firing, stopping and then getting off the HMG - but I find this kind of odd.
In a game with other players it could easily be interpreted as offset incoming fire by the enemy thus causing someone to behave differently if they don't know any better.
