Freeze/Lag When using Voicechat

So I have encountered a problem which has appeared roughly when RS pre order beta started.

The problem is that ingame when I try to use my voice chat I freeze up and lag hard. The problem does not happen when others speak. The problem happens in both RS and HOS. I am not 100% sure it started exactly when I started playing RS beta but thats a distinct possibility.

This is easily reproducible. Has anyone encountered the same problem I have? Any help or tips on what I should do?

I'm on the same but and can't find a fix for it. It takes so much from the game not being able to communicate

Does it do it only on the first time in a match, or every time you try to use it after?


I get it (despite not having a microphone plugged in) but only the first time I press the button.

The problem has fixed itself in a way.

Basically after posting the OP I went on a vacation for a week from which my computer has been turned off. Upon comming back about 3 days ago the problem has since been fixed.

I think restarting your computer might reduce or outright remove symptoms.
