Level Design Exclude the sky from bloom?

Tried that, predictably doesn't work. I think bloom is applied on the rendered frame, not on textures or anything. So it really doesn't matter if you look through an alpha sheet or not when it comes to bloom.
I remembered reading something like that too though so it was worth a shot. Might have been for the Source engine...

If there is no hidden option or some hack available I guess that's it..

I settled for a compromise now that still softens up the level a bit but still leaves the sky alright.
