issue dates for Soviet APCR is 1942 for 45mm, 1943 for 57 & 76mm and 1944 for 85mm. by 1944 most tanks had at lest four rounds of APCR.

German APCR was generly withdrawn by late 1943, though limited production for some guns went on untill mid 1944 (I.e. 50mm Pak 38). though limited numbers of rounds where avalibe for "special use"...

True but it dose not have (at the moment) HE or "normal" AP rounds. (well it can eather have HE or APCR but not both.)

Well what im sugesting is insted of just two types of shells each would have three to five kinds of rounds.

for example a Panzer IV "G" durring 1943 would have something like this
(It carried 87 rounds)
APCBC ~37
APCR ~5
HEAT ~5
HE ~35
Smoke ~5

A T-34/76 M41 would have
(It carried 76 rounds)
APBC ~26
APCR ~5
HEAT ~5
HE ~30
HE-Frag? ~5
Smoke? ~5

I would think the heat rounds would be the easier to implement. They can lift the damage model from the fausts.

The others may be a nightmare as that increases the complexity of the penetration model they currently have.

Right now they're only dealing with the penetration for the AP rounds (actually APCBC for Germans and APBC for Russians) and the occasional APCR. I would expect determining the ballistics for all the other round types might be a pain.

Well, I hope it eventually get implemented.

I'm really hoping for smoke rounds. Right now, firing HE rounds in front of Tigers just doesn't cut it.
