Summary: The border indicating the defense zone of the upper control area is missing a border.
Description: This is a simple and straightforward one. Whenever the game randomly assigns you the optional task of defending the defense zone of the control area of the upper area of the outpost - it's the one that has a door leading outside next to it - the game for whatever reason refuses to complete the border highlight showing where you need to remain in to accomplish that task. It's quite a glaring omission and I've included a picture of the missing segment of the area highlight.
This isn't a one-off thing either. Every time I have been assigned the task of defending that area, the game refuses to put in that one little lit up border for whatever reason.
