[Error] Can't bayonet charge

This is the problem:

I hold my melee attack-key but is doesn't hold! My weapon (bayonet or butt) immediatly thrusts forward. I don't know why this happens but I experienced that this started happening after an update. It's very frustrating because when I try to charge into an enemy with my bayonet, it releases immediatly giving my opponent enough time to kill me, it doesn't even work while sprinting!

please fix this

Which button are you using for it?

the right mouse button, which previously worked fine.

Well it's probably not a bug with the game, I've just tested it out and it works like before. Try mapping it to a different key.

And tell us what kind of mouse and keyboard you are using.

Try checking in your keyboard options to see if there's a language setting option for it. If I recall, AZERTY keyboards have a series of key presses that switches the language of the keyboard on the fly. Slightly running out of ideas atm. :x

Don't suppose you have a spare mouse hanging around?

This has happened for me twice since the patch. No melee function.

Be creative: try binding your right mouse to any other function that is a command that can be "held down" to see if that still works, eg. sprinting.

I'll try that. eventhough it seems to work again (sometimes..). I have 2 side buttons on my mouse and I possibly still have one to spare.
