Look how close the clowncar comes for example?
Me: I will see it as another step towards the BF42 market.
some guy: Tanks should be a one man operation, remove the need for a driver and gunner, IMO it would make the game so much better and I think it would become more popular.
The guy I quoted is a new member, there have been a lot of new members lately. I stick by my observation that there are a lot more BF type players, and people who don't care about realism in the community now than what there were. If some of you new members would go back 3 months or so and read the threads we had they were based around realism, now it seems like anything hip is suggested and completely supported by most of the posters. Before when someone suggested something unrealistic the person was flamed (for lack of a better word) but it isn't like that anymore.

That somehow of course being dependent on various factors of the layout of a map constituting it plausible for motorcycles to be used there.
As far as the BF2 crowd goes
If they liked BF2 they would be playing BF2 instead of RO.
I believe there was a motorcycle infantry company(s) involved and will find the info soon .The only place where I would maybe like to see a motorcycle is a "partisan attack on a police patrol" type scenario. However, to protect the game from silly players and map makers, it would have to be pretty heavily restricted to prevent, like others have mentioned, having the bike pop up everywhere "to ballance the ba-64". Even then, a motorcycle would be a fairly useless vehicle. Being high profile (that is, higher than a machinegunner prone on the ground) and thus would be very vulnerable even to rifle fire, which would be the primary weapon of the before mentioned partisans.
/edit Monkeyman, the mechanized infantry and mobile infantry you have highlighted refer to the soldiers mounted on halftracks following the assaulting tanks, which are already inclueded in the game, and like any other vehicle are terribly misused.
1)No, until limited vehicles implemented in game.Any chance of seeing one or 2 of these babies on say a larger tank map? Would be a cool adventure for getting a few infantry around. Or kinda fun cruising around and shootin up a town or 2.
