Hardline it is. EA has set up a page on the Battlefield website confirming that Battlefield Hardline will be revealed on June 9 at 12:00 Pacific. The webpage confirms a rumor from earlier today that Hardline is a cops-and-robbers take on Battlefield, trading military warfare for vault-bustin' and Heat-style shootouts. And that rumor wasn't the first Hardline leak

I think such big public corporation knows better how to handle its brands in order to get profit. Otherwise shareholders will eat them alive

Because they want people to think of cops like soldiers. Which isn't too far from the truth in America today. So I guess this is an example of games nauseatingly reinforcing reality.

Probably because it looks like 99% of the assets were taken from the BF games lol.

Looks pretty bad; the vehicles behave like military vehicles. 30mm on a police vehicle?

Maybe they will attempt to change things up as I noticed a PTR-91 and Saiga 308 listed, and those are semi auto civilian weapons. But regardless, using rifles like that and especially heavy vehicles is very out of place for the theme.

After having seen the previews at the E3 press conference all I can say is:
If I wanted to play payday I'd play payday.

Yea, just played it and it is really not worth it, feels like a cheap DLC and really not like a Battlefield.

Its just a reskinned BF4 CTF mode. Why people still buy Battlefield games is mind blowing. Last true Battlefield game was their last PC exclusive BF2142. The Battlefield series will be dead until they go back to the PC, which will never happen.

It could be pretty fun to play, but i cant say after seeing one map, 2 modes, form which 1 sucks completely and no hardcore.
What i can tell axactly that this 100% does not cost 43 USD (Russian price in Origin).
