Tactics Air-bursting smoke grenades

jesus christ wtf are you guys talking about?!?!

it's just an emitter attached to the grenade projectile, and the sprites emitted dont have any negative z axis movement, they just spawn and change size from a timed sizescale, and prolly use a subdivision scale to animate. stop argtuing about useless *** stuff, the sprites spawn where the emitter is when its event is called, be it in the air or on the ground.

you might wanna try some decaf.

On the Apartments throwing air-bursting smoke grenades is a good way to cover your teammates if your sharpshooter teams can't gain superior position against German shooters who fire from the upper windows, decimating advancing Soviet troops. Bonus side is that your marksmen can still aim at the Germans stationed below - in lower windows and in the open area, because smoke should be on the side of the enemy, blocking their field of vision while leaving your guys free to engage.

RO1 you toss a smoke nade cooked it explodes in air but effects were centered around the canister, so as it fell the smoke came out of canister like it should. RO2 nade explodes in air, it does it's smoke animation where the nade exploded. so you'll see smoke billowing magically in the in the air.
