good call kong

btw you are not really telling us anything we didn't know... I know that at least me and kong knew about the real history behind the unrealistic non historical fantasy comic book that the movie is prolly loosely based on. and your example was horrible and could be considered offensive by some and it was horrible and had no realativity to the argument you were trying to make

No where did it say based on a true story. It's clearly an exaggeration of a historical event. Maybe the guy riding the three story rhino didn't give it away to some of you. For me, that a definite sign that were dealing in a fantasy realm...

People watch movies to be entertained by whatever crazy story they throw at us. We watch the history channel and research to learn the truth about what really happened. Please differentiate between the two.

Looks like it might be entertaining. Apparently there was already a movie made in the 60's called "300 Spartans."

Here is the one you are referring to http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0055719/ I have it somewhere in my collection, one of the better films of the 60s of that type.

When I saw the title I was dreading another Hollywood remake. Glad to see it is based on the comic. Saw a short trailer on BBC tonight and some of the effects looked pretty swish. Let us hope the rest of the film is up to scratch. All the signs are good so far.
