Looking to be in something more than just a "clan" Do you want to be in a realistic structured 'unit' that are the utmost professional? Then the 26th Marines might be for you!

We pride ourselves on how realistically we portray a real military unit, how well we run it, as well as how efficiently we train our Marines for combat. With a very strict Basic Training Program, we want our members to give us their all, and in return we will give them ours. We run unit drills every week, but are very lenient on how many our members have to attend. We are a fun loving group, that know when to be serious and when to goof around.

We only look for the best members. We look for those who prove that they have patience, determination, dedication, and desire. the 2/26 is not for everyone, and many people will likely drop before they are able to fully appreciate what we do here. We are not super hardcore wanna-bees, but we are not totally laid back and unorganized. We are the perfect balance of everything that one could look for in a unit.

Because here, we understand that life comes first, and in the end, this is still a game. So have fun, play some games, make some friends, and enjoy every second you spend in his unit!

Congratulations to our first training platoon!

On Sunday, May 26, the 26th Marines had their first training platoon graduate!

With this, we welcomed a whopping 13 new Privates to our ranks, and now have 3 full squads up and running. Our member total has now also hit an amazing 40 enlisted, and we are still looking for more!

Still the biggest, still the best!

The 26th Marines is still kicking! We are up to almost 50 members at this point, and are still looking for more!

If you want to be a part of the most active, professional, and organized RS unit out there, look no further than the 2/26.

We will be opening a second platoon this Sunday, as it will make the graduation of our second BCT class, which looks to be even bigger than the first. With a whopping 19 members, we will be opening some new squads to accomodate our newly welcomed Privates.

In other news, we have now opened an entirely GMT based squad, so there are no more time issues between zones. We hope to expand this to platoon size in the future, and we need your help to do so!

Congratulations to our newest BCT Class graduates!

Today at 4:30 PM EST, we had our BCT Class 002 "Underdogs" graduate from Basic Training. With nine new privates in our ranks, and 4 more on their way through make up classes, we welcome a total of 13 new Privates into the squad structure!

First Platoon is now booked solid, and we have officially launched Second Platoon under the guidance of our dedicated Sergeant. With one squad already almost full, things are really starting to come together in the 26th.

Our custom training map!

I noticed our post was starting to fall behind a bit, just wanted to post an update to let everyone know we are still alive and kicking.

We recently had 2 of our members complete the first build of our Basic Training map! It is indeed custom made for us, to cater to all of our needs, and the best part is that it was made in house!

We are still actively recruiting players from all over the world, so don't forget to take a swing past our website or hop in our Teamspeak and check us out!

Victorious on the battlefield!

Last weekend marked a historic day for the 26th Marines. We held our first official scrimmage against two Japanese units here in Rising Storm. The match was a 12 v 12, and out of 4 rounds, the 26th Marines pulled out with a win! The end score was 3-1.

Even though there have been many internal changes happening with the unit, that scrimmage helped show that not only are we the most realistic and professional unit in Rising Storm, but now we can back that up with battlefield superiority.

The Triumphant Return!

That's right. The 26th Marines have made their return to the battlefield in Rising Storm! After a few months of being away, we have decided to return here to pursue our realism careers.

Boasting only a small number of members currently, we are still the well trained, well oiled machine that we were previously. Although our servers are still on the way, we are starting up full steam again, and will be looking for more players to join the ranks.

We are bringing back the old school realism feel that we had before, with the always professional and mature environment we had in our prime. Our training classes will begin starting next week, continuing with class 008 where we left off.

In some other news, our Logistics team have already begun work on some more maps for the public to enjoy, including some larger maps designed for combined arms when it is available. Our custom training map is still finished and ready for use, and we are very excited to use it again!

So if you are interested in being part of a true realism unit, look no further than the 26th Marines. We are always recruiting players of all ages and skill levels, so don't forget to stop by the website to take a look for yourself!

Servers are Up and Running

The 26th Marines officially have their first server up! We have a public 32 slot (for now) which just happens to be running all of the available custom maps released for RS. That includes: Kobura, Bataan, Wake Island, and Phosphate Plant/ Our server's IP is 68.232.169.240:7781, or just look for the name set as:

Now that our server is officially up, we are going to begin planning out our public realism matches. These will be CD based realism matches, open to all players. If you have any suggestions or comments, let us know by going to our website.

Players interested in using tactics and playing as part of a team can locate us in our TeamSpeak server, as well as players interested in the above paragraph. Our teamspeak server is open to the public as well, and can be found using the following IP:

And as always, we are still recruiting. We are looking for players interested in growing as a part of something great. Custom Maps

Our servers are now up to date and running all of the latest versions of the custom RS maps available to the community! From this point forward, our public server will be updated daily along with all of the 6 available maps, and however many more are to come!

We will start hosting custom map nights that are open to the public on Monday and Thursday evenings, as well as Sunday all day! So make sure to stop in the server to play a few good rounds and take a run through some of the impressive work that the community has gone through to bring these to us.
