Compared to Windows this is better as Workshop content is stored there and not mixed with the original files. If you deleted files from another position use the Steam verify feature.
Always when I play this game I have to swap the gfx card to get rid of

The bug with Nvidia OpenGL rendering is at least as old as the Linux version, it should happen on Windows OpenGL as well (tested on Linux only).
Some maps like...
The new updates are fun, but there are some annoying Linux bugs:
a) all nvidia opengl rendering issues are still there
b) when you subscribe to a workshop item it is stored in a subdir of $HOME/.killingfloor/System and not in $HOME/.killingfloor - i would use a different overlay dir for windows...
The wrong executeable is used for Linux as you see with
http://steamdb.info/app/213650/#section_config
As executeable the "Run.sh" is used, but thats wrong, they need to set this to "Dwarfs_Bundle.exe". The hotfix is therefore:
ln -fs Dwarfs_Bundle.exe...
You can use OpenGL/Windows, it has got even some positive speed improvements for Intel, but you need to edit the KillingFloor.ini in the System dir. I even did some crossplattform KF benchmarks - even using Wine.

OpenGL errors with Nvidia cards never got fixed
OpenGL errors with Nvidia cards never got fixed
Why is that bug ignored all the time? It can not be hard to find, most likely a Nvidia optimisation thats only valid for D3D but not for OpenGL. AMD/Intel OpenGL calls recorded work with Nvidia...
@YoYoBatty
If you would read the thread then you would know that i have got gfx cards from all brands. But it is not really logical that you have to use amd or intel gfx just for 1 game and nvidia for the rest for the best experience.
Also this update did not fix the MAJOR achievement/leveling...
Yes, it happens in other levels as well like Factory. Another very stupid bug is that the telescopic sights do not always work. That makes the crossbow/m99 a bit useless when you see nothing or only very dark.
Those screenshots only indicate that you have got a Nvidia card. Look here:

Using Win with Direct 3D 9 the textures are not missing.
Dwarfs! F2P is very unstable on Linux, crashed after a few mins. But using Win I got the 40000 gold. Gimli that Axe worked after entering a level in KF - it does not matter which one.
I have got KF since it was available for Steam/Linux and there is still no update that fixes these bugs. I verified that the same issues are happening with the OpenGL renderer on Win or via Wine. As soon as a Nvidia card is detected some levels have got missing textures on the floor - directly...
I recently did a lots of benchmarking with KF on Win+Linux with 3 cards (some in 2 settings). Some aspects are really interesting I would say. Like that Wine can have a much higher speed than the native Linux binary. Just take a look...
