Weapon Ideas

+1, I love the look of the AUG. Though what gun is American? The SCAR? The AA-12?

Well, the AA12 is the only fully American gun there, the SCAR is thankfully half-Belgian which means it's half-European.

Hahah, that would be me. I did it simply because I understood exactly what the OP was talking about, as did everyone else; making these kind of clarifications completely pointless.

It's like correcting someone for calling a Double Barreled shotgun a boomstick.

Utterly pointless. And I'm far from illiterate.

Other people may not get what the OP said like you did, or might mistake what the OP said as correctly spelt and such.

Yes!
Medic should get a .22 slow reloading manual pistol. Only, these .22 rounds are explosive and deal damage around the Xbow area.

Can you specify which particluar .22 rounds you're talking about? Simply typing in .22 yielded about 15 different types of .22 rounds. But yeah it's awesome.
How about a FN Five-seveN 5.7x28mm FN pistol? Though not .22 it is close enough at .224. The 5.56x45mm NATO is .223 if i remember correctly.

I vote for a dart gun for the medic, but I got 5 or 6 pages about that, so I dont feel the need to go on about it:D

Personally I feel like SMG's should be the Medic's forte in the same way that Commando has AR's and Support shotguns. It's a cliche gun, but I'd love to see a P90 in KF. I would assume it'd be his tier 2, with better stats and higher price. Also, I think the dart attachment should also change depending on the gun (so high/lower dart speed, recharge, potency, etc). For example, the P90 could have a faster heal dart that recharges 1.3 times the Medic's normal health tool recharge rate, but with only 90% normal potency.

A TDI Vector would make a nice addition alternately (and yes, these were two of my favorite SMG's even before Call of Killstreaks: Modern Semtex 2. I am not just getting these ideas from that horrible thing.).

Though I must admit, the 5-7 was my favorite pistol from CS. :D

Even if it sucked.

Lol you crazy?
Forget .22, any round.

Well "Calibur" is pretty much phonetically indifferent from "Calibre"
and Killing Floor itself uses the word "Clips"
This leaves not much room for confusion for anyone who's played the game.

Besides, not everyone knows what boomstick means either.

M79 anyone?

.

Healing and passive effects are more of how I saw it. But if a weapon is going to be damaging, I agree that SMGs are appropraite. However, I think it should be effect/healing centered, instead of just an altered MP7

Well, while it might resemble calibre, calibur is different in that it has a distinct "bur" sound on the end and calibre has a "bre" sound which is closer to "bah" than "bur"

And using clips instead of mags was a mistake on TWI's part. Hopefully they can rectify the mistake in a patch sometime :)

Also, i pretty much ignore Demo, i'm not a fan of it and i usually forget it exists unless someone plays it. So, ok TWO US guns in KF.

That's true too but I meant as far as signature offensive weapons go. Healing and effects are of course the Medic's territory in the same way welding is Supports, explosive traps are Demo's, cloak-spotting is Commando, etc...

No-one really cares though, since they know exactly what these terms mean. I've yet to meet someone who doesn't know what I'm referring to when I say clip, regardless of what I'm actually referring to; a thing that holds bullets.

Im gonna revive this thread as I have a few ideas for weapons that I would love to be in the game (don't know if any of these has been surgested before).

As I think the medic is very useless (when it comes to firepower) I was thinking of two things that would make this perk a lot more interesting.
The first weapon that should be considered is a TASER GUN! A gun which should be a bit more expensive than the MP7M which gives the zed a shock with a very small damage level but will stun the zed when electricuted for a few seconds (longer time the higher perk level). This could add a new tactical method in the game as the medic receives a new function (the TASER GUN should be a bit heavy though, so the medic has lower running speed (the perk would be too surperior otherwise)).
Another weapon addon for the medic could be a COLT M4 (small model) also with medical darts. It could be with either ironsight or with reddot. The price costs for the gun should be like the SCAR as commando and firepower like the AK47.

A change for the firebug perk should be to remove the "flame-nades" (when you reach level 4?) and instead give the firebug the possibility to buy another kind of throwable weapon: MOLOTOV COCKTAIL! This would be so friggin awesome and also gives the firebug a new advantage (the MOLOTOV COCKTAIL should make a larger firery explosion than the nade, but also be heavier than nades).

A new melee weapon for the berserker should be a BASEBALL BAT! The bat should have the abillity to stun the zed if hit directly to the face with the normal attack and secondary fire button should smash the entire head of at least the clots, if headshoted ofcause. Price of the weapon should be like the katana.

A new weapon for the sharpshooter could be a rifle like the german World War 2 MAUSER 98K, a bolt action rifle with either ironsight or a scope, with a bayonet Attached for a quick melee cut! The price of this weapon should be a bit cheaper than the M14EBR.

I thought about something for demolition, which was a bit deficult but I think I have come up with something interesting. The demolitioner should be able to purchase a BOMBBELT. The BOMBBELT should detonate when the user dies, killing nearby zeds. This would actually give you teammates an advange of your death if you decide to go suicidebomber, if you for example have no ammo left you can still come in good use.

I have no ideas for commando or support specialist, because I simply think those perks are just fine as they are.

SO I believe those addons would make the game a lot more awesome (than it already is ofcause). What do you guys think of these ideas?
