seriously I joined in random server with new map called "KF-Das" I was like never heard of it then once I joined I see this :/
yes another map to lvl up the perks
yes another map to lvl up the perks
On the contrary you don't have to, as I believe you can set a door to require more weld points than usual (or maybe give it more than usual so you can unweld constantly for a long time?) which means that you don't need to be at the computer. Unless of course that's what you were getting at.but i doubt i can stand myself doing nothing besdies holding onto the left mouse button at one location and stand there for hours....
So? Someone took the time to make a map that helps them level. Maybe they don't have time to play 24hours a day so they can level a perk enough to have a chance on higher difficulties. Besides, it had to take at least a bit of effort to make the map, and even on the map, they still have to 'grind' to actually level the perk! Making a map to level perks doesn't make you someone lazy, it makes someone smart...Fight smarter, not harder...
Of course they enjoy it, everyone enjoys countless hours of grinding. Why are you guys complaining and trying to ruin other peoples fun, if they enjoy playing on those servers then let them, if you don't, then don't play on those servers, its as simple as that.
this map doesn't give players skills at all and they will never learn, imagin someone have commando lvl 5 and he get owned by crawler
Tbh i think the perk grind has detered alot of people from playing and/or buying the game. Why was it necessary?
not on normal, sure, but as soon as i see a <lvl4 player join my hard server im always tempted to swing the banhammer, 95% its the lowlevel scum that dies from wave 2 onwards, shoots fps with a pistol, blocks your shotgun shots or you, begs for money each wave and welds the good players out.and it's not like you have to have level 5 of any class to play.
I don't see how. It rewards you for spending time playing the game, and it's not like you have to have level 5 of any class to play. Players LIKE having something persistent that carries over from game to game.
I think calling it cheating is a pretty poor approach. You give players a grind, they are going to find ways to make it easier or shorter. Whether it's powerlevelling, or achievement servers, or perk grinding maps, or whatever name it goes under on any game, players are always going to try and maximize their gain across the least amount of time possible.
Really, it's no different than loading up Biotics on beginner and running around welding all the doors to level your support, or playing farm on beginner to score easy headshots for sharpshooter.
No, it rewards you for spending hours grinding instead of playing the game how it was meant to be played. It rewards you for spending time playing the game
Complaining that people aren't playing the game "the way it was meant to be played" is asinine.
