thanks man, but i cannot seem to find a section called prerendered frames under the manage 3D settings option. Any more info?

What drivers do you have? Any of the 18x.xx series have had the option, before it was hidden and required Coolbits.

Then the setting should be there. Do you have the advanced user profile turned on?

You can download this .reg, install it and then check, it should be there. Make sure to set it exclusively to UT2004, in an Application profile or so, because other games will probably have issues with it.

ok, i really have no idea wat to do, sorry to be a pain but i have no clue about computers, so could u pls give me a step by step instruction if it isnt too much trouble. I am also running vista 32 bit just in case it is different.

ok i downloaded that program and i am looking through the results, however i have no idea what im looking for! Also i checked and the advanced view is on, it says my driver version is: 7.15.11.0128 if that is wat ur after.

The reason why i gave a custom site is because default drivers by both nvidia and ati do not support laptops, as the oem is supposed to add the drivers and they either never do it, or the drivers are like a year old.

seriously who knows wat im doing wrong as there is not a prerendered frame button any where in the 3D settings. It may have something to do with my driver version, but im not sure, like i said previously when i downloaded the new driver and updated all i got was that the program wasnt compatible. This is driving me mad as i have had the game for a week but havent played it once. PLEASE help me

ok i have just done a complete systems check and found a rootkit hidden in my system files, i think this is stopping my drivers from updating, as the other software i downloaded said i only had version .118 whereas the latest driver is .125 or something. So i think this is the cause of my problems, unless anyone thinks this couldnt possibly be the problem?
