OS: Windows XP 5.1 (Build: 2600)
CPU: AuthenticAMD PentiumPro-class processor @ 2174 MHz with 2047MB RAM
Video: No Video

General protection fault!

History: FMallocWindows::Free <- FMallocWindows::Free

Things I've tried:

. Delete the clientregistry.blob file
. Change cachesize to 256
. Delete system folder
. Delete ini file
. Verify red orchestra files on steam
. Defrag red orchestra files on steam
. Reinstall 4 times

Now before I rip my hair out any further, someone give me some advice, please.

Update DirectX?

Did you just recently start getting this error? Did you install anything else recently?

I've had this game since day one, bought it at Best Buy. I haven't played it in over 8 months so I decided to play it once again. This is the first time I have ever gotten this error, the game worked fine in the past.
