RO won't start

Hello,
I am having an issue with RO starting. All that I get is the splash screen and that's it. I have tried following the troubleshooting thread and none of that work. I have completely removed steam and RO from my system and then reinstalled both and this problem still continues to happen. I checked the RO directory for the minidump and the crash log, both are 0kb.

Please advise as to what to do next. Thanks!

After trying all the helpful advice on here I was tried using a different router and it works fine now.

check your firewalls and routers and check if ro is allowed to function and not detected as some kind of virus etc.
